Bar Scouting So last night was a good night of bar scouting for me and Andrea. Led by our experienced leader Lisa, we checked out some bars downtown and eventually stopped at the Refuge for drinks and dance. The Refuge is a pretty cool bar/club with lots of people. But it was pretty crowded and I felt like I was such a youngin'. Nevertheless, it is our job was the older kids to find these bars so we can take you younger ones to them when you turn 21.
Party at Tropix Went to Tropix tonight with Andrea, Jessica, Diana, Megan, David, and John Kim. Lots of fun dancing but it was too damn hot and there was like a lack of fresh air. We left a little early when Diana had a alergic reaction to something...hope everything is fine with her. Oh yeah, we finished a liter of Parrot Bay in like an hour...good stuff!

( o Y o ) Hooters not boobies. Went to Hooters last night with Will, Danny, Jean and Steve for their happy hour specials. Damn those wings were good, but I think we had so much that we were about to puke afterwards. I shared a pitcher of beer with Will on an empty stomach and I could feel the effects pretty fast. Felt so good to come back to UV and just pass out...didn't even dream about anything, what a great sleep. Now I'm ready to start my Wednesday! Quest Anyone? Who wants to go to the Quest next Thursday? Also Ryan is having his house party next Friday.
Reflecting on Yesterday So I gave Yoga a try yesterday. I let myself go and let Jessica lead me into this world of relaxation and stretching. I know what you guys are thinking....wicked positions...well that's a negative. First of all, there are no hot chicks there. Second, we didn't do any wicked stretching positions. Despite the lack of wacky positions, yoga was pretty challenging. The goal was to breath deep and stretch and hold positions while still regulating your breathing. Some of the positions I could barely keep myself balanced, on top of that I had to breath long and slow, it was a challenge. Afterwards it actually felt pretty good. I think it's cuz we ended with 5 mins of just lying there on the ground with the lights off. I think I'm gonna go and do it again next week, eventhough there is a lack of hot girls under 30.
MRI can make me $$$! So yesterday I was reading the classifieds in the Daily since I need money to go to China over the summer. Well I came across an ad looking for native Chinese and Hebrew speakers to read English and do MRI scans for $15 an hour. What a great opportunity! So I called and they said I was a good candidate and the researcher would call me back. Well I told my parents last night of my plans and they freaked out on me. They would absolutely not let me get MRI scans to make money, not even easy money. Damn.
8 BR House So tonight I went to look at that new 8 bedroom house by 17th and Hennepin with Mike and Levong. It looks really nice and big...we even took some pictures to show the guys. The only problem is that it's going to be a little expensive, somewhere around $400 per person and that's without utilities, but you get your own room. Yay tomorrow is Friday!
Yesterday's Misfortunes I had a pretty rough day yesterday. All because of the lack of sleep and little bad luck. Started with me trying to make ramen in the morning. I put a cup of ramen in our microwave without water. It was until 2 minutes later that I smelled something funny. I turned around and there was thick smoke just pouring out of my microwave. I opened up the microwave to get of that ramen but that only released the smoke into the entire living room. I ended up opening my windows and turning on all the fans. I even had to stand under the fire alarm to wave at the smoke so it doesn't set it off. That was rough, and I ended up smelling like burnt ramen the whole the day. Then I went to class and I thought maybe I'll take a little nap because I felt so damn tired and couldn't concentrate. So I slept for like 5 mins and I woke up to my professor saying "You know it's funny how it's the same people who sleep ever day in lecture. I would prefer just to stay home and sleep, it's more comfortable." And he was looking at me! Other people in the class started looking at me and the TA even laughed. That was so wrong because it was the first time I ever fell asleep in there. I think he's asian-blind and mistaken me for Steve. Steve slept through the whole thing and didn't even hear the prof make fun of me. Old School Oh my god I haven't seen a movie this funny for a while. Old School with Will Ferrell is hillarious. It reminds me of Officespace but a lot crazier cuz Will is in it. Anyways you guys have to see this movie as soon as you can. Refugees from the Cold So we went out to downtown again last night. It was me, Dave, John Kim, Andrea, Lisa and Megan. We were going to go bar hopping. But we didn't hop cuz it was too cold. We ran from our parking lot to the Refuge cuz it was the closest bar with people in it. It was a lot more fun this time cuz our group was bigger and it wasn't as damn crowded. They played a lot of great songs, songs that I would play if I was the DJ.
Getting old, or something We went to the frat party last night, it was okay. I think I've grown out of the whole frat party scene. I felt out of place even before we went in. When Dave was trying to get us in, it seemed like such a hassel. Dave called his friend Mike who came out and argued with another guy from the frat to let us in while we sat out there in the fricken cold. After a while they finally let us in, I don't know the magic word that Dave's friend had to said. The whole time I was thinking how dumb it was for frats to have a list just to make people feel like they're special and important. Just the night before we went to the Refuge where more than half of the kids in that frat can't even get in cuz they're under age. I don't think many people were dancing either, I think it was mainly our group that was dancing.
This week be sucky Last night Steve and I spent like 9 hours on a lab report for a class that is only worth 2 credits. I was so tired at the end of my report that I didn't know whether or not my fingers were hitting the keys. And tomorrow we got a csci midterm that we know nothing about. On top of that we have 3 homework assignments to hand in on Wednesday. But after that all is good and spring break will be coming soon.
Testing 1 2 3 Wow I am finally through with that last csci midterm before spring break! Now I must finish all my homework cuz they're all due tomorrow. And I must get in some CS...hehe

Quest like never before So tonight was the first night ever that I went to the Quest while being a single guy. It's so different, you're always dancing with other girls and stuff. Feels a little bit intimidating dancing with girls that you don't know, I still have to work on that. I don't know if this is typical of clubbing but this drunk girl got ahold of me and clung on to me for quite a while. She refused to let go and I was very very afraid she was going to puke on me. Thank god she didn't, but she deep throated me harder than any girl...that was scary. Now I'm home and safe.
Spring Break Party My white friend Ryan had this party at his house on campus to kick off the start of the spring break. It was a pretty cool party, especially since it was another asian invasion. There were a lot of asians there, I guess the calls I made were effective in getting people to come. Anyways I think I had a little too much to drink that night, I hope no one was offended by anything I did. And I know I must've done something because it's impossible for me to get drunk and not do something or say something stupid. Hope you all had some fun, maybe we'll do it again next time without the white population, who don't even like to dance.
Spring Break Destination: Harrisburg, PA. So where are you going for break? I bet you don't get to go to Pennsylvania! Muwhahaha I'm in PA right now, got here yesterday. You're probably wondering why I'm here, well it's mainly to visit my relatives that I haven't seen for like 3 years. It's great, I get to stay at their nice house and do whatever I want. Except my little cousin Stephen woke me up at like 10 this morning! He doesn't understand that college students need their sleep. Anyways last night I got to try some really good and famouse wine from South Africa. It's called Klein Constantine or something. Anyways it's a 300 year old wine that was very famous and everyone wanted. Napolean would send ships out just to get this wine. Yeah it was good, it's a very sweet desert wine. Today I don't know what I'm doing. I worked out this morning (afternoon) and right now I was just helping my uncle clean the patio. I think later we might go out for some sushi, because we all love sushi here. Oh I met my cousin Yvette's new boyfriend from South Africa. His name is David and so far I think he's a cool guy, easy to get a long with and a nice person to be around.
New Car Stereo I got a new sony car stereo today! I'm excited, it's the one with mp3 playback! Why did I get it in PA? Because we stopped at a Sony outlet store and I saw the thing for $150 less than retail. Networking Yesterday I set up a wireless network in my uncle's house. Next project is to do his law firm. Oh and I mention the puppies are cute?
Boredom Creates Creativity So I played Yahoo Mah-jong tonight. And I raped! My god I raped those people so bad it wasn't funny. I think I got my confidence back up in this game, I am ready to earn back my losses from last the last games. Also being bored has kind of led me to interrogate friends on whether or not they've seen their siblings naked. Muwhahahaha!
Bad News So that stereo I got...won't work. I brought my bmw to circuit city, best buy and audio king and they all said it wouldn't work with my system. I have too many speakers and I would have to take everything apart and rewire the whole thing...suck! Nate Attack! So Nate and I hung out for a couple nights when he got back. We went to Hooters the night before he left and afterwards had our long talk and a cigar. It's too bad he doesn't come back very often.
Playing the Game I've been partying too much lately. I went out Sunday and Tuesday to Hooters with friends for their happy hour, that was fun cuz Nate was there too. I went out Wednesday to Green Mill for their appetizer specials and guess what, they have happy hour too, that was fun cuz I got Jimmy drunk by playing a drinking game with him. Then last night we celebrated Vivian's 21st birthday and then later went to the Quest where we met up with Catherine Park and her crew cuz it was her 21st birthday too. Last night was a ton of fun, the best night I've ever had at the Quest. Couldn't believe how many girls there were and how many danced with me...I got too drunk towards the end though. But a girl did end up giving me her number that night, hehe. Tonight no parties for me, I need a break, I will party after work on Saturday night. Hope everyone is having as much fun as me, actually I don't hope that because then you'd be missing as many classes as me too and that's bad!
Yes, there can be too much fun Well yeserday I worked at Peking Way and it got all busy during dinner. I was running around helping the waitress while taking phone orders and taking calls on the cell from various party people. I actually started sweating, haven't been that busy for me in a while...I guess it's good. So after work I came back to campus to regroup with my friends who were going out. We ended up going to downtown and went to some bar that I don't even remember the name of. It was so damn packed in there! There was a lot of people, too many people. And Khuong and David got rejected by some racist white-washed asian girl when they tried to dance with her, that wasn't cool. After the bar we were all covered in sweat, it felt nasty! But after that we drove to St. Paul because Thuy invited us to her friend Lin's birthday party. It was cool because it was the same group of girls I met at the Quest last Thursday. All girls were nice, and like to dance a lot...hehe.
