Back in...school So here I am, at work. It's about 8:30AM, I've answered two calls and I am anxiously waiting for the stock market to open. I had a great Thanksgiving break in Las Vegas and I hope everyone else had a good one too. Hopefully no one spent too much time studying, cuz that would suck. Vegas We arrived in Vegas on late Wednesday night, after eating some late night food and scoping out the Aladdin hotel, Kenneth and I decided to go to be at around 4AM while my mom decided to do a little slot action. I woke up the next morning at 8AM and my mom was no where in sight. I called her because I was worried something had happened. Turns out that she hit a jackpot on the quarter slots for $1250...so naturally she didn't feel like sleeping. As my mom came back to the room to sleep, Kenneth and I headed out for lunch at Todai. It was one of the best lunches I've had in a long time. We ate so much sushi and seafood and topped it off two big bottles of Kirin's. Kenneth and I gambled too, played some blackjack and roulette. We both came away pretty even. If it wasn't for my luck in roulette I'd be screwed. The rest of the trip included more great food, shopping, and gambling. Even a buffet at 4AM, after Kenneth and I failed to get into the hottest club in Vegas (Rain) because they don't open on Thanksgiving. We also saw Eason Chan while we were shopping in the mall of Aladdin. Yeah it was all good, I still have to post the pictures. Time to get back to work.

IT nerd, walkin' down the street... IT nerd, the kind you dont want to meet... Why do my majors suck so damn bad? I don't understand. I thought I had everything planned out in high school when I wanted to become a computer engineer. This is the time of the year where I feel like I'm on the edge of breaking down, especially when your classes all have assignments and projects due on the same day. How's an IT student supposed to live his life? I know mine is depressing. I took my DSP midterm today, the class where graduate students and fobs from China dominate. The exam is open book open notes. So I printed out all the homework solutions that has to do with this exam and even homework solutions from other universities studying the same topic. What do the grads and fobs do? They come into the test with 2 or 3 other text books that have to do with DSP. It was disgusting. They're already smarter and more knowledgeable in this subject and they need to make the curve even higher. Needless to say, I felt the ravaging throughout the test. Afterwards, Jimmy and I immediately headed to the computer lab to check on our stocks as that is probably our only hope of success in the future. So time is winding down and what do I have to do? A BUNCH OF SHIT! Why am I blogging you ask? I feel like I need to vent, there's just too much inside of me. Yeah I think I need some sleep now, but first I must go pinch those nipples of David. (Helps me to relieve stress ^_^)

Another day at work I am filling out this long ass survey for Tony and it sucks. Damn I hate filling out surveys. Pretty busy for a Friday morning actually, already took about 10 calls. Had one fob call so far where "six" is "sick" and "two" is "doo"...hmmm...I dont know why but I can't stand that. One of my stocks is doing pretty good today. Went up about 18% since I bought it earlier this week. Oh man I just got back from helping a walk-in customer for a long time, I forgot what I was going to write. Maybe I'll write some more when I remember later. I think I'm getting old or something.

Feelin' a little lonely Ahh....I found a solution to overcome those times when I feel lonely. Now I play boybands and sing to them, especially 2Gether and LFO. Oh yeah, boybands baby! Boybands will give me the strength to stay single, and hopefully not make me gay. Actually I've been listening to boybands for a while and look at me, I'm just fine. ^_^ right?

The Last Samurai I just got back from watching The Last Samurai, an epic film about the ways of the samurai fading as Japan transitions into a modern civilization. This movie is great, I have not seen a film as inspiring, thoughtful, and true as this. They just don't make movies like these anymore, you all should definately see it, especially if you are a man. Also I've addressed this a few times to people who think that the movie is mainly about Tom Cruise being the last samurai. It is actually about the forgotten ways of the samurai. Since the plural form of samurai is just samurai, thats what lead to some people believing the movie is about just one character. I also think Cruise did a great job in his acting, much better than, Keano Reeves, but anyone is better than that man. So why are you still reading this? Go watch it!

Early monring I came into work 45 mins late this morning and found out that I was supposed to work front desk. I've never worked front desk before and was a little worried. But so far, I've dealt with 2 people. It's pretty laid back, just chatting online and reading the Technology Investor.

Miller Lite Ahhh....amazing what a beer can do to help you relax a little. This week is so rough, everyone is running on overclock. Just got home from being at school working on projects the whole day. I had a beer last night too, but it made me tired and that wasn't good. I think I'm drinking a little beer to ease up on my need to unwind when this is all over. I don't want to go out to a bar when this is all over and drink myself to death. It snowed like hell today. Ever since I got up this morning it's been snowing nonstop.

Night owls We're just a pack of night owls. It is almost early morning and we are all still awake. Will got up at 3AM after sleeping and took a shower, he's now his room playing internet chess or something. After being consumed with his intense Chinese homework assignment, David is now in the shower. He's planning on staying up for a few more hours because his graphic dsign major has decided to give him some stress, apparently for the first time this semester. I don't know why I can't fall asleep. My mind just won't settle. I guess it doesn't help that I just bought more stock tonight. I have to get up early in the morning to do homework and then I have a drug test and physical at Park Nicollet. My employer not only wants to see if I am a drug user but also if my balls are big enough for the job.

Lighter The load on my back feels a little lighter now that I have most of my homeworks done and my projects finished. Ah just one more assignment left and its all left to the finals.

ARGH! OMG this woman is soo damn annoying!!! Please people, when you call a tech helpline, have some patience. If you don't have the patience yourself, how can you expect others to have the patience to deal with your ass. God damnit this lady just refuses to follow my exact directions, saying she can't find the option when it is staring at her in the face! When someone is helping you, at least listen to them and give them a try. Damn I just want to shoot myself at work sometimes. Operator: If you right-click on a name, it will say Add Contact. Woman: No it doesn't let me do that, it doesn't even show anything. Operator: Yes it does. Woman: Oh I see it now. You have to click on the name exactly, it tricky. How damn tricky can it be to click on something?! Some people should be banned from computers.

Looking I've been looking at motorcycles again lately. I love looking at the classifieds, I think my next bike will be a used bike. That way I can treat it like a beater and not be afraid to be more aggressive. I took Jimmy to the Motoprimo dealership after work to check out some bikes. It was the first time for him. I almost creamed myself when I walked in and saw all the bikes. Then I got to see and touch a rare MV Augusta for the first time....I creamed myself after that. This bike is an Italian import, it's like the Lamborghini. If I am rich I will buy one just so I can look at it everyday and sit on it as I please.

Captured So now that Saddam Hussein has been captured, what's going to happen next? It is amazing how fast they got him, I thought it would take the Coalition forces much longer. I remember being in Pennsylvania on spring break last year watching CNN. My uncle and I were both watching CNN because we couldn't sleep and they were broadcasting the live footage of the first bombs that hit Baghdad. This is one of those historical things so I must mention it in my blog. Oh yeah I just finished touching up my DSP project, it is ready to be handed tomorrow. Yay!

Ever seen a Japanese porno? The women, are screaming for help for some reason. In American pornography, women make sounds such as "ohhhh...yeah...give it to me" or something like that. In Japanese pornography, women say things such as "yamade..." which basically means "stop" or "don't". Do people usually like to hear their sexual partner cry for help? Does that turn most people on or something? Maybe I'm weird, but it doesn't do it for me. During World War II, before the United States became involved, there was an event that occurred in history that most Chinese will never forget. The Nanking Massacre is one of the hidden horrors of WW2 that most people have never heard about. It is estimated that 300,000 innocent Chinese civilians were killed about 20,000 and women raped in 6 weeks. When I did my research paper I learned of the gruesome acts that the Japanese soldiers did to Chinese women. Acts such as forced incest, impaling women with bamboo sticks, boiling babies, kicking fetus' around on streets... There were countless cruel acts the Japanese soldiers did to Chinese women that was driven by their sexual desires. The Japanese military also created an underground brothel where Chinese and Korean women were forced to be sexual slaves for the soldiers. And today, I read this... "According to news reports, about 400 Japanese men and as many as 500 Chinese hostesses had sex at a Zhuhai hotel over a three-day period that ended on Sept. 18. That was the anniversary of a Japanese attack on a city in China�s northeast in 1931 that many Chinese regard as the start of Japan�s World War II invasion and occupation." ->MSNBC - China opens �Japanese orgy� trial The event of the "Japanese Orgy" should not be looked at as comical. Sojiu Rosie gave me a bottle of Sojiu last night for Christmas. Sojiu is Korean rice whine, similar to Japanese Sake. I can't wait to try it. I'm at work right now, bored out of my mind and don't feel like studying. All I want to do is drink that Sojiu...mmmm... My stocks continue to do bad today, I don't know what I'm gonna do, I'm paying a high price for this education. I think I'm gonna take my money out at a minimum loss and go back to sitting on the sidelines to learn again. I'm going to see Lord of the Rings tonight with Matt, can't wait.

Last day at ADCS Today was my last day at ADCS. It has been awesome working there, it's too bad that I won't be coming back next semester or the summer. I was just starting to get to know everyone that I work with. A lot of the people I work with are really cool because they're not in IT. NONE of the cool people are in IT. I hope to come back to ADCS during the Fall. Lord of the Rings: Return of the King I thought this was the best LOTR of all three. There's not much to say except that you should go see it. If you really enjoyed all the detail and huge battles from the 2nd one, there is more to drool over in Return of the King. One thing that bothers me is the amount of credit Frodo gets from everyone while his buddy Sam does all the work. Although Frodo bares the burden of the ring, Sam has the burden of protecting Frodo, which is even greater because in essence he is also protecting the ring.

It's over Yay finals are finally over! My last final wasn't too bad, I finished with 45 mins to spare. But I think it was because I had the craps so bad that I couldn't wait to finish it and hand it in. Yes, I ran like mad to the nearest toilet...it hurt so bad I felt like I was gonna die. I got new pictures up. Friday night we went to Escape and Saturday night we went to Beirut Restaurant. Great food, I would love to back there again. Go check out the new photos!

Merry Christmas! I am in Pennsylvania right now visiting my relatives. We just got done having an awesome dinner that included lamb, seafood and great wine! Tomorrow morning we will be opening presents and in the afternoon my cousin Yvette will be leaving to visit her bf in South Africa. I hope everyone is enjoying their time with friends and family...I will post up pictures when I get back to MN.

Back to cold ass MN I am back now to the land of 10,000 lakes, the place with long ass winters. When I was leaving Harrisburg, the weather there was beautiful, biking weather. I got to the airport and my flight was delayed by over an hour because it had been snowing all day in MN. I'm not surprised. However, when I was on the plane ride back, I read in the airplane magazine that Minneapolis was ranked #1 as the Most Fun city. Ha...it fails to mention that it can only apply for half the year, the other half we Minnesotans spend freezing our asses off. I guess that's the price we must pay to have those 10,000 lakes. I just got back from working at the restaurant, it was slow. Slow like a mofo. I got some reading done though. I'm reading this book called "The Millionaire Next Door." It makes me a little depressed because you don't realize how much you must sacrifice in order to actually become a millionaire. According to the book, we Americans live in a consumer society hence most of us won't ever actually be worth a million. Something has to be done about tomorrow night. Kyundo and I were thinking about throwing a big party at my restaurant or something. After some thought (5 mins) I was reminded that I am too old for that kind of drunken partying. Best to just leave it to David and see what he's planning to do. I think we will just end up going to that asian party called Resolution. Whatever they call it, it's the same thing, at Townsquare Garden held by that Gordon guy. Whenever an asian says the name Gordon people know "oh it's that Gordon guy who throws those asian parties." Isn't is sad how small of a community we are in Minneapolis? I think I'm gonna go play my new computer game, Restaurant Empire.

Penicillin Still not quite sure what the plans are for tonight. But I do know that I will be going over to Julie's house for dinner tonight. Later we might head to "that asian party" in downtown St. Paul. I was planning on drinking but I just remembered that I am taking some medicine still...so that's probably not a good idea to drink alcohol. Ehhh...a little wouldn't hurt would it?
