Sad Things Tt I Went For Little Ride

Sad things T_T I went for a little ride yesterday with Lisa. Everything was fine and we were cruising at slow speeds. Then we got to an enclosed road and decided to trade bikes and try each other's ouch. Well I got on hers and went about 30 feet, then I hear CRACK! I turned around and she tipped my bike over! The bike wasn't even moving yet and she tried to balance it but couldn't and the whole thing fell over. It got scratched up some more. Well at least I can go buy that touch-up paint now. -_- Last night my friend Sara came to visit my new apartment and we decided to go grab a bite to eat. We hopped on our motorcycles and decided to take the long way there, go ride around campus first. We got excited and started riding a little faster. But then when we got to this one bridge I said "We gotta becareful cuz there are a lot of cops on this bridge." And we still raced over that thing. I guess she just couldn't let me go faster than her. I started to do a lean and that's when I noticed the flashing lights. F(*@&#*(@&#(@#*&(@&! We got pulled over, Sara was terrified cuz she had a reckless driving citation last month and was sure she's not gonna be able to ride her bike anymore after this one. The cop was nice and said he's gonna give us SPEED ON BRIDGE violations instead of reckless driving...So what does that mean? I donno, but I gotta be more careful from now on.

posted by Billy at 8/29/2003 11:33:20 AM

<< Home

About

Use Unicode (UTF-8) character encoding for optimal viewing.

Contributors

Billy

Amanda

Previous

Moved in! Long Time Wow Its Been While Since Ive

Long time Wow it's been a while since I've posted. Well not much has happened except that I finally finished summer classes yesterday so my summer has officially begun! Yay! Yesterday I went to First Thursday down by Lake street in Minneapolis. It's a thing where a bunch of people with motorcycles go to every 1st thursday of the month. It was awesome, there must've been over 200 bikes there and lots of people. So I just walked around and looked at everyone's bikes and met some people that I talk to on a motorcycle forum. And then we celebrated Steve's birthday by going to the Quest. He got so drunk he passed out on the table. Just as bad as Danny I would say. And the night before we all went to Mystic Lake seafood buffet.

S

S.W.A.T. the movie S.W.A.T. So I saw SWAT tonight. It was alright, I think the plot was a little bit lacking. But the tactical action this movie portrayed was pretty cool. If you don't analyze this movie at all and just watch it for the Special Weapons and Tactics, you'll like it. Being a Counter-Strike player myself I noticed that all the guns these guys used were used in the game. And also the scenarios that the team faced were all very similar to that of the ones in CS.

300 Mile Ride Major Ass Cramp Wow I

300 mile ride = major ass cramp Wow I just got back from riding today. Left the house at 7:30AM and met up with Nick and Bud for a longass ride. I put 300 miles on it today going down to Winona. We hit lots of nice back country roads that are all twisty and stuff. Lots and lots of fun! Wow that was some adrenalin pumpin twisties. Especially when they told me that 2 people already crashed there this summer. I think I must've killed every type of insect with two wings on my ride. My helmet was covered with dead insects and I had to clean it 3 times. Especially those bigass country grasshoppers, when those things hit you while you're doin 80, it feels like someone threw a rock at you. I don't even want to mention how they splat on your jacket. So who wants to get a bike and join in on the fun???

3000 Miles Wow I Hit 3K Mile Mark

3000 miles! Wow I hit the 3k mile mark on my bike tonight! I've been working a lot at the restaurant for the past 2 days. And looks like I will be working there more when school starts because my mom is going to China for a month to see her father. After work tonight I went over to campus to see Kenneth. We had a couple of beers at the Dinkytowner and then decided to get Lisa to go on a night ride. We rode all over town till 2:30, lots of fun! I think Kenneth's ass is gonna be real sore tomorrow from riding bitch with me. Hehe...

Julies Grandmothers Party Last Night

Julie's Grandmother's party Last night there was a big party at Townsquare Garden where close family and friend's of the Ha Truongs celebrated the 75th birthday their Grandmother. It was a great party with lots of good food, live bands, and performances. Best moment that night for me was seeing my old friend Ben Lau and his daughter there. Ben Lau was my after school activity bus driver when I played basketball in 7th grade. We were good friends and I went over to his house to play with his daughter. Well after 7 years of not seeing him he is still doing what he loves, painting. He's actually a very talented artist and genius. It was a great reunion with him and his daughter. Thank you to Julie for bringing us back together. The worse moment for me that night was when I was forced to dance. Not only did they (my friends who like to embarass me) force me to dance where my parents could see me, but my dad came up and started dancing with us. That was so damn embarassing. I don't even dance at the Quest anymore, what makes them think that I would want to dance to Twist and Shout in front of my parents? -_- I shall seek revenge on the savages that were entertained by my embarassment!

Working Today I Went To Work To

Working today I went to work to relieve my dad today so he can go home and entertain guest. 5 mins after he leaves, a fat black woman came in and said "I wanna full refund." And so the dialog when like this... "Why? What's wrong with your order?" "It's nasty and gross, it's just so yucky." (avoiding eye contact and looking out the window) "Can you tell me what is wrong with your order? What is wrong with it?" "It's just nasty and gross..and and it's got stuff in it!" (eye balls rolling from side to side) "What stuff does it have other than food?" "It's got like fuzz and stuff." (wipes her mouth with her shirt) "Where? Show me the fuzz, you gotta show me these things." (ruffles around in the bag and points to a tiny piece of blue on te side of the box) At this point I'm thinkin WTF GET THE HELL OUT OF MY STORE YOU BITCH! So I resume... "Ohhhkay...well I'll do this for you once just this time. But don't do it again. (handing her the refund) Actually don't even order from us again." "mumble mumble bitch...mumble mumble" (waddling her fat ass out my door)

J O B I got myself a job today! Woohoo! I applied for a job this summer with ADCS for their Technology Helpline and they finally replied to me a week ago. Wrenching I Worked On My Bike Today

Wrenching I worked on my bike today with my friend Sheldon. I drove over the Woodbury and we installed Yoyodyne frame sliders on my bike! It was a lot of fun working with him and it was the first time meeting him. The sliders look real nice and fit perfectly. We had to cut a hole 2 inches in diameter on both sides of the fairing, that was scary! Well now that I have the sliders on, if my bike tips over again, it won't damage my fairings. Too bad I couldn't put them in yesterday. =(
