Working Work Was Interesting Today
Working Work was interesting today. I was sitting beside one of my co-workers who was talking a call. He was struggling to understand the caller, I suspected it must be an old lady or something. When he spelled out his internet id, j-i-a-n-b-o...my alarm went off. FOB alert, FOB alert. I ended up taking the call for Doug and helping out a fellow fob. Things were a little rough at first because I've never learned Chinese ever since these new internet terms came out. I basically spoke Chinglish to him. But hey I helped him solve his problem...it was all good...and I felt good about myself. I also got to help an English literature professor with her laptop, that was cool too. She said I should take her class because I told her I like literature. Hmmm...maybe I would if I wasn't swarmed with EE and CSCI requirements.
