I fell, again Ok here's what happened.. I decided to go for a little ride before my friend came over to meet me. I was riding around the U of M campus and decided to take a turn that I normally don't take. I think my entry speed was a little fast for that turn because I didn't expect this turn to be more than 90 degrees. So I said 'ok I can handle this, I've been reading Twist 2 by Keith Code'. I rolled on the throttle and leaned, I had to lean more than usual. Then I felt my bike starting to slide. I put my my right hand on the asphalt as I slid, that was hot, so then I lifted my hand off. When I stopped I was afraid to lift the bike and see the scratched fairing cuz I did slide for quite a bit. I lift the bike and there was no damage! Because Sheldon and I had just put in the Yoyodyne frame sliders! I checked out the bike for any more damages other than the scraped slider, nope. Just when I was about to ride away the guy in the car behind me who was watching me the whole time showed me where I lost control. He said I lost traction because there was gravel. I looked back and there was gravel! Quite a bit of gravel, and I didn't see it. He said I should contact the city and tell them to sweep that crap away. Wow thank god for those frame sliders! My right hand has a few blisters on it from putting it down for a little bit. My right knee is scraped and there's some yellow juice coming out of it right now. My favorite pair of jeans have a hole in them now! Other than that, everything is a-ok.
